Members of Ghana’s Krobo tribe create one-of-a-kind beads with the texture of sea glass by firing glass powder in handmade clay molds. Here, upcycled round blue beads and translucent blue discs alternate with crystal clear quartz beads. The result is a necklace that looks ethereal but has a weightiness that helps us feel grounded.
